Don't have a jiu-jitsu or judo gi? No problem! Feel free to wear any athletic wear you might have. Generally, a tight-fitting T-shirt and shorts (preferably with a drawstring) are the most comfortable options. Please note that street clothes with zippers, buttons, or metal/hard plastic fasteners may damage the mats and are inappropriate for this type of martial arts training. Limited loaner gi's may be available for the duration of your trial.

The best way to determine if Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a good fit for you is to try it out. Our classes are generally divided into three segments. We start with warm-up and movement drills before progressing to technique and drilling and closing with some live drilling. Classes are planned to accommodate students of every fitness and experience level.
